ODYSSEY® batteries are designed to handle increased power demands and support the use of additional equipment in today’s vehicles.
The ODYSSEY® battery range incorporates advanced Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, which securely contains all electrolyte within the battery, ensuring exceptional cyclic stability. This design enables the battery to undergo repeated deep discharges and recharges without compromising overall performance. In practical terms, an ODYSSEY® battery can be discharged up to 60% deeper than conventional batteries while still delivering exceptional cranking power.
Engineered as dual-purpose batteries, they are capable of delivering starting pulses of up to 2700A (625-DIN C-1500) for five seconds at 25°C. Additionally, they support over 400 charge/discharge cycles at up to 80% depth of discharge (DOD) when properly maintained — and up to 900 cycles at 50% DOD.
